Welcome to JMCC’s Development Blog! On behalf of our organization, we are excited to launch this platform as a means of keeping you updated on our progress towards the development of the museum.

As a Board, we are passionate about preserving and celebrating the rich cultural heritage of Jamaica. Our vision for the museum is to showcase the history and traditions of our island, while also providing a space for contemporary Jamaican art and culture.

The Development Blog will serve as a space for us to share our journey with you. We will be posting regular updates on the progress of the museum, from the design and construction phase to the curation of exhibits, events, and programming. We want to take you along with us as we bring this vision to life.

We believe that the Jamaican Museum and Cultural Center will be a space that not only showcases the best of Jamaican culture but also serves as a hub for cultural exchange and education. Our hope is that visitors to the museum will come away with a greater appreciation and understanding of Jamaica's rich history and vibrant culture.
