Marcus Taylor is a licensed CPA with more than 30 years in the field of accounting and currently serving as managing partner of Jefferson Martin & Associates LLC.

In Jamaica, Marcus Taylor attended Alpha Primary, St. Georges College, Excelsior Community College and  the University of the West Indies. He holds aa Bachelor of Science in Economic and  Accounting and a Master of Science in Accounting.

Prior to migrating to the USA, Mr. Taylor started his accounting career as an Assistant  Purchasing Manager at Wysinco Trading Company and later moved on to the Income Tax  Department of Jamaica, where he worked as a Tax Auditor and rose to the rank of  Audit Manager before leaving to the United States.

While in the U.S., he also operated a Food Distribution Company, which primarily  sold Caribbean food products, distributing a few uniquely  Jamaican and Caribbean products to the Atlanta market, including natural coconut water, Cherry, June Plum Juice and Chubby soda. 

As the proud son of Rita and Carlton Taylor, husband of Shaunette, father of two daughters and a son, and grandfather to three  grandchildren, Mr. Taylor is committed to providing sound financial management support to JMCC to carry on the mission of preserving Jamaican culture for generations to come.
